Breeze Bakery Cafe: Asian-Inspired Pastries and More in Annandale, VA

FOOD Breeze Bakery Cafe provides a range of pastries from donuts, Korean-inspired corn dogs, to loaves and offers other items like gelato and more. During my visit, I tried their cream cheese pastry, and it was the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess-- light and not too heavy. DRINKS I tried their vanilla latte, which was light and wasn't too sweet. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly. Complimentary wi-fi is available in the store-- the password for which is on the receipt. Ample seating is available inside the store on both the ground and upper floor, with an option for enclosed balcony seating as well. BATHROOMS The bathroom stall is clean and tidy. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot before the store. The loop in the lot is one-way, so do be careful on your way in/out. There were a couple of close calls I experienced and saw during my visit.

Purchased a strawberry layer cake for New Year's Eve and several breakfast pastries for New Year's day morning. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was great! Happy New Year!

One of my go-to places for Asian-style pastries! I love their croquettes and the fact that they have two different kinds - the vegetable and beef one with more of a potato base and the curry one. The rest of their bread is pretty standard as far as Asian bakeries go. I've also tried the Sweet Iced Coffee which definitely is very sweet - I think it's a good option for people who like the Korean coffee milks!

There is no better frozen yogurt than from here. Its not just a frozen dessert that tastes like yogurt. It's light, perfectly sweet, and fluffy, i could eat all i wanted and not feel gross at all. Their bread is good, nothing spectacular but solid korean bakery bread. They do seem to run out on certain breads often though. If you need dessert in the area, this is a must. Heck id even make a drive

A typical Korean Bakery. Most asian desserts are typically not very sweet by Western standards. This place goes the western route. I've had the Bingsoo here twice and it's very good a refined and great version. Definitely worth the visit and a great place for dessert on a hot day.

This is my second time coming here and I wish I had more stomachs to try everything. Located right off I-495, tucked between a 7-11 and a kbbq place is this amazing bakery/cafe. Once you enter through the door, you are immediately greeted by a plethora of baked goods, drinkware and the bright displays of the cakes and gelatos. I was initially overwhelmed with all the choices and ultimately settled on a green tea gelato snow. The green tea gelato snow consists of a base layer of shaved ice topped with red beans, mochi and a scoop of green tea gelato. The ice was shaved a bit more coarse than I like, the red beans were not sweet at all, the mochi were soft and chewy and the green tea gelato on top was creamy and had a balanced green tea flavor. The snows come in two sizes and I got the small. The large size is truly large and would be enough to be shared with 2-3 even 4 people.

Got some treats delivered to me for Easter. Loved the packaging and obvious tender loving care. Every to ing was good.
